The device satisfies industrial standard IP 65, and with its high level of dust protection and jet-water resistance, with built-in option to set coordinated personal and man-down or no-development caution alerts. The 742d DECT handsets are certified for usage within hazardous areas and fulfil the latest European ATEX guideline.mHazardous areas are typically found in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries, but also in aerospace, fuel handling and many other sectors.
