Throughout the user interface of the Webshop and during its webshop-related activities Assono Hungary Telecommunications Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Assono) complies with (i) the Act CXII of 2011 implementing Directive 95/46/EC (the Data Protection Directive) and, from May 25, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), ii) Act No CXIX of 1995 on the Use of Name and Address Information Serving the Purposes of Research and Direct Marketing as follows:

By completing the registration and using the voiplaza.com website, users agree that Assono manages their personal data for purposes of (i) offering and providing its services through its Webshop, (ii) perform the agreements concluded with the users, (iii) collecting feedbacks from users and setting up profiles about the users based on their purchases to predict future demand and enable product and service development, and (iv) (subject to the user’s consent, see below) communication promotional and marketing offers about Assono’s and its commercial partners’ products and services to the users. All personal data is provided voluntarily, and will be retained for an indefinite period of time, so that Assono is enabled to process orders, inquiries and claims of the users made any time by the users in the future.

Assono hereby warrants that it will ensure the privacy of all personal data and commercial information supplied by the Users. Only authorised employees of Assono shall have access to users’ personal data. Assono shall not disclose to third parties any personal data (including, but not limited to e-mail addresses) stored about users. The only exception to this rule is that Assono shall, in order to facilitate delivery of products ordered in the Webshop, provide personal details of buyers of the Webshop to its contracted delivery partners. Contracted delivery partners are selected from reputable international carriers on a case-by-case basis.

However, Assono reserves the right to process and disclose a User’s personal data to relevant authorities in the event of a suspicion of such User abusing the service or having committed any other crime.

The Users are enabled to review and correct as necessary their personal data stored by Assono at any time,  and to have their registration deleted.

Personal data shall only be used for any other purposes beyond those described above only upon the written consent of the affected User.

Assono agrees not to send any e-mails to the e-mail addresses supplied by users as part of their registration, with the exception of information relating to Assono’s products and services, provided that users have, during their registration, agreed to receive such information. Assono guarantees an unsubscribe option in all issues of its newsletter.

Assono shall use all reasonable endeavours to ensure the safekeeping of all personal data but shall not be held liable for any damage to, the destruction of or the access to such information by unauthorised parties as a result of a technical error, an Act of God, an act of terrorism or crime. Assono shall use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that access to personal data is uninterrupted and free of errors, but shall not be held liable for any errors occurring that may result in a malfunction of the Webshop and/or any loss of data.

Assono Hungary Ltd. uses, on a temporary basis, the following, non-personal information generated automatically to enable the proper technical operation of its Webshop: the IP address of the computer, the domain name (URL), data pertaining to the access session, the file request of the client (file name and URL), the HTTP response code, data pertaining to the computer the request was sent from, the date and time of the visit and data pertaining to the pages viewed. In certain cases we also use cookies to ensure that we can provide content in line with the users’ preferences.
